The new agreement was signed on November 13, 2020, and covers the period from November 1, 2016, to October 31, 2021, inclusively.  <\/p>\r\n<p>The new collective agreement is now available electronically on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ute-sei.org\/sites\/default\/files\/pdf\/collective-agreement\/psac-ute-_collective_agreement-final-2016-2021-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UTE\u2019s website<\/a>.  It is also available through the employer at InfoZone and Canada.ca.<\/p>\r\n<p>While no amendments were made to clause 10.02 of the collective agreement, the parties did agree, however, to establish a committee to consider alternatives to the printing of approximately 30,000 copies of the collective agreement within the parameters of sustainable development objectives. <\/p>\r\n<p>Clause 10.02 reads as follows:<\/p>\r\n<ul><li>\u201c<strong>The Employer agrees to supply each employee with a copy of this Agreement and will endeavour to do so within one (1) month after receipt from the printer.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul><p>In light of this commitment, the parties have agreed to recommend the use of the electronic version of the new collective agreement.<\/p>\r\n<p>Notwithstanding this commitment, some members may wish to receive a printed version of the collective agreement. Clause 10.02 above allows for these members to receive a printed copy, <strong>at their discretion<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p>For those members, a printed version is available through a pre-order request via the employer\u2019s Forms and Publications Order Service site where they can select the <strong>RC-4208-REV 2020<\/strong> (collective agreement) which will be available in English or French format, depending on the member\u2019s preference. Upon submitting a pre-order request, individuals will receive a message indicating that the requested product will be shipped at a later date. Please note that printing will be based on the number of requests, and agreements are expected to be available for home delivery early in 2021.<\/p>\r\n<p>Members will be able to place an order for a printed copy through the employer\u2019s site during a pre-set ordering window from <strong><span style=\"background-color:#FFFFE0;\">December 15, 2020 to January 22, 2021<\/span><\/strong>. After that date, members who have not placed their order will be deemed to have chosen to use the electronic version of the collective agreement. <\/p>\r\n<p>For UTE local representatives and Regional Vice-Presidents, we have advised the employer that they will require printed copies in order to fulfill their roles in meetings with managers, meetings with members during the grievance process and other such activities.<\/p>\r\n<p>We strongly encourage all of our members to familiarize themselves with their collective agreement, including but not limited to the recent changes negotiated during the last round of bargaining to understand their rights and the employer\u2019s obligations concerning their terms and conditions of employment.<\/p>\r\n<p>In closing, we also encourage members to raise any issues or questions they may have with one of their local UTE representatives.<\/p>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"field field-name-field-subjects-ref field-type-taxonomy-term-reference field-label-inline clearfix\"><\/div>\r\n\r\n<iframe src = \"\/ViewerJS\/#..\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/psac-ute-_collective_agreement-final-2016-2021-2.pdf\" width='800' height='600' allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen><\/iframe>\r\n\r\n<h2>PARAGRAPHE 10.02 &#8211; EXEMPLAIRE DE LA CONVENTION COLLECTIVE POUR LES MEMBRES<\/h2>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ute-sei.org\/fr\/nouvelles-evenements\/nouvelles\/paragraphe-1002-exemplaire-de-la-convention-collective-pour-les\">source<\/a><br\/>\r\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-item-date field-type-datetime field-label-hidden\"><div class=\"field-items\"><div class=\"field-item even\"><span class=\"date-display-single\">15 d\u00e9cembre 2020<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden\"><div class=\"field-items\"><div class=\"field-item even\"><p>Comme vous le savez sans doute, une nouvelle convention collective a \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u00e9goci\u00e9e avec l&#8217;Agence du revenu du Canada.  La nouvelle convention a \u00e9t\u00e9 sign\u00e9e le 13 novembre 2020 et couvre la p\u00e9riode allant du 1er novembre 2016 au 31 octobre 2021, inclusivement. <\/p>\r\n<p>La nouvelle convention collective est d\u00e9sormais disponible en version \u00e9lectronique <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ute-sei.org\/sites\/default\/files\/pdf\/collective-agreement\/convention_collective_-_afpc-sei-final-2016-2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sur le site web du SEI<\/a>.  Elle est \u00e9galement disponible par l&#8217;interm\u00e9diaire de l&#8217;employeur sur InfoZone et \u00e0 Canada.ca.<\/p>\r\n<p>Bien qu&#8217;aucune modification n&#8217;ait \u00e9t\u00e9 apport\u00e9e au paragraphe 10.02 de la convention collective, les parties ont toutefois convenu de cr\u00e9er un comit\u00e9 charg\u00e9 d&#8217;\u00e9tudier des solutions de rechange \u00e0 l&#8217;impression d&#8217;environ 30 000 exemplaires de la convention collective dans une perspective de d\u00e9veloppement durable. <\/p>\r\n<p>Le paragraphe 10.02 est libell\u00e9 comme suit :<\/p>\r\n<ul><li><strong>\u00ab L\u2019Employeur convient de fournir \u00e0 chaque employ\u00e9 un exemplaire de la pr\u00e9sente convention et s\u2019efforcera de le faire au cours du mois qui suit sa r\u00e9ception de l\u2019imprimeur. \u00bb<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul><p>Compte tenu de cet engagement, les parties ont convenu de recommander l&#8217;utilisation de la version \u00e9lectronique de la nouvelle convention collective.<\/p>\r\n<p>Nonobstant cet engagement, certains membres pourraient souhaiter recevoir une version imprim\u00e9e de la convention collective. Le paragraphe 10.02 ci-dessus permet \u00e0 ces membres de recevoir une copie imprim\u00e9e, <strong>\u00e0 leur discr\u00e9tion<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p>Pour ces membres, une version imprim\u00e9e est disponible sur demande pr\u00e9alable via le site du Service de commande de formulaires et de publications de l&#8217;employeur o\u00f9 ils peuvent s\u00e9lectionner le <strong>RC-4208-REV 2020<\/strong> (convention collective) qui sera disponible en format anglais ou fran\u00e7ais, selon la pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence du membre. En soumettant une demande de pr\u00e9commande, les personnes recevront un message indiquant que le produit demand\u00e9 sera exp\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 une date ult\u00e9rieure. Veuillez noter que l&#8217;impression se fera en fonction du nombre de demandes et que les conventions devraient \u00eatre disponibles pour une livraison \u00e0 domicile au d\u00e9but de 2021.<\/p>\r\n<p>Les membres pourront commander un exemplaire imprim\u00e9 par l&#8217;interm\u00e9diaire du site de l&#8217;employeur pendant une p\u00e9riode de commande pr\u00e9d\u00e9finie allant du <strong><span style=\"background-color:#FFFFE0;\">15 d\u00e9cembre 2020 au 22 janvier 2021<\/span><\/strong>. Apr\u00e8s cette date, les membres qui n&#8217;auront pas pass\u00e9 leur commande seront r\u00e9put\u00e9s avoir choisi d&#8217;utiliser la version \u00e9lectronique de la convention collective. <\/p>\r\n<p>Pour les repr\u00e9sentants locaux et les Vice-pr\u00e9sidents r\u00e9gionaux du SEI, nous avons inform\u00e9 l&#8217;employeur qu&#8217;ils auront besoin de copies imprim\u00e9es afin de pouvoir remplir leur r\u00f4le lors des r\u00e9unions avec les gestionnaires, des r\u00e9unions avec les membres pendant la proc\u00e9dure de r\u00e8glement des griefs et d&#8217;autres activit\u00e9s de ce type.<\/p>\r\n<p>Nous encourageons vivement tous nos membres \u00e0 se familiariser avec leur convention collective, y compris, mais sans s&#8217;y limiter, avec les r\u00e9cents changements n\u00e9goci\u00e9s lors du dernier cycle de n\u00e9gociation afin de comprendre leurs droits et les obligations de l&#8217;employeur concernant leurs conditions d&#8217;emploi.<\/p>\r\n<p>En conclusion, nous encourageons \u00e9galement les membres \u00e0 soulever tout probl\u00e8me ou question qu&#8217;ils pourraient avoir avec un de leurs repr\u00e9sentants locaux du SEI.<\/p>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"field field-name-field-subjects-ref field-type-taxonomy-term-reference field-label-inline clearfix\"><\/div>\r\n\r\n<iframe src = \"\/ViewerJS\/#..\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/convention_collective_-_afpc-sei-final-2016-2021.pdf\" width='800' height='600' allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen><\/iframe>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CLAUSE 10.02 &#8211; MEMBERS&#8217; COPY OF THE COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT source December 15, 2020As you are likely aware, a new collective agreement was negotiated with the Canada Revenue Agency.
