{"id":1229,"date":"2022-04-04T13:05:19","date_gmt":"2022-04-04T18:05:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/00013ute.org\/?p=1229"},"modified":"2022-04-04T13:05:19","modified_gmt":"2022-04-04T18:05:19","slug":"psac-ute-bargaining-hours-of-work-remote-work-top-priorities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/00013ute.org\/index.php\/2022\/04\/04\/psac-ute-bargaining-hours-of-work-remote-work-top-priorities\/","title":{"rendered":"PSAC-UTE bargaining: Hours of work, remote work top priorities"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>PSAC-UTE bargaining: Hours of work, remote work top priorities<\/h2>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ute-sei.org\/en\/news-events\/news\/psac-ute-bargaining-hours-work-remote-work-top-priorities\">source<\/a>\r\n\r\n<article class=\"node-14488 node node-news node-promoted view-mode-full clearfix\">\r\n\r\n  \r\n  <div class=\"field field-name-field-item-date field-type-datetime field-label-hidden\"><div class=\"field-items\"><div class=\"field-item even\"><span class=\"date-display-single\">April 1, 2022<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden\"><div class=\"field-items\"><div class=\"field-item even\"><p>The PSAC-UTE bargaining team discussed key bargaining priorities including hours of work and remote work during negotiations with Canada Revenue Agency March 28-30.<\/p>\r\n<p>Our team also tabled proposals to provide greater protection against discrimination in CRA workplaces, and to ensure mandatory training to all employees on anti-oppression and discrimination.<\/p>\r\n<p>The team reiterated the importance of access to remote work, having <a href=\"https:\/\/psacunion.ca\/bargaining-underway-cra\">previously tabled proposals<\/a> to ensure that management cannot unreasonably deny remote work arrangements.<\/p>\r\n<p>More than 33,000 PSAC-UTE members have continued to roll out historic support to Canadians throughout the pandemic.
