{"id":998,"date":"2020-11-05T22:40:01","date_gmt":"2020-11-06T03:40:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/00013ute.org\/?p=998"},"modified":"2020-11-05T22:40:01","modified_gmt":"2020-11-06T03:40:01","slug":"signing-of-the-new-collective-agreement-on-november-13th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/00013ute.org\/index.php\/2020\/11\/05\/signing-of-the-new-collective-agreement-on-november-13th\/","title":{"rendered":"SIGNING OF THE NEW COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT ON NOVEMBER 13TH"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"color: #505050;font-family: Arial;font-size: 14px;line-height: 150%;text-align: left;\"><h4 class=\"null\" style=\"color: #202020;display: block;font-family: Arial;font-size: 22px;font-weight: bold;line-height: 100%;margin-top: 0;margin-right: 0;margin-bottom: 10px;margin-left: 0;text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px\">SIGNING OF THE NEW COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT ON NOVEMBER 13TH<\/span><\/h4>\r\nNovember 5, 2020\r\n\r\n<p>Now that the tentative agreement between PSAC\/UTE and CRA has been approved by the Governor in Council and the Governor General of Canada, the parties will be signing &nbsp;the new collective agreement on Friday, November 13, 2020.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The date of signing is the date on which our contract takes effect.&nbsp; Everyone in the bargaining unit on that date is eligible to receive the one-time lump sum payment in the amount of $400.00.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>CRA has 180 days from the date of signing the new collective agreement to:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>implement the new rates of pay;<\/li>\r\n\t<li>provide retroactive pay effective to the expiry date of the old contract; and<\/li>\r\n\t<li>pay the one-time lump sum payment in the amount of $500.00 as compensation for the extended implementation timelines. All our members are entitled to this amount as well as those who retired after the expiry date of the last contract.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<p>We are in discussions with the Agency as to when these payments will be made.
